ABOUT DR. MUSTAFA MURTUZA

Dr. Mustafa is a bellwether in managing various pain related complaints of people due to which their activities of daily living are affected through various Physiotherapy approaches. He believes that pain is not the actual complaint but due to which the daily living becomes stressful is an actual complaint and hence he assumes a whole body approach in improving patient's condition. He strives hard to ensure that none of the movement component is lost due to inability to perform that due to pain and thus he designs tailor made exercise programs to ensure optimum recovery. Currently, the clinic comprises of over twenty specialized services to aid people and has more than 500 happy patients.

QUALIFICATIONS AND ACHIEVEMENTS

Dr. Mustafa graduated in the year 2018 from Dr. MGR Educational and Research Institute University as a Physiotherapist. His passion to acquire knowledge and explore trends in the field of Physiotherapy allowed him to present several papers and posters. His first paper named "Dividing attention impairs performance of olds more than young olds while negotiating obstacles", in which he talked about aging and obstacle dodging among elderly in their daily living was awarded as the "Best Individuality Project" at the Sarvasastra 2017. His second paper named "Does the Y-balance test predict lower extremity injuries among volleyball players" was all about the interaction of recreational competitors with Y balance test. This paper was awarded first prize at the Stride 17.

In the year 2018, he has completed the Health and Fitness Instructor  (HFI) course at the Indian Institute of Sports Medicine and in the year 2021, has completed the Certified Manual therapy Practitioner (CMT) course at the Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical therapists.

He was awarded the Excellence Award in
Physiotherapy at the Global Healthcare Awards and 
Conference in November 2022. He was conferred with the India Social Impact Award  in December 2022 for his exemplary social work.
